Project management is a natural progression in terms of implementing design in the creative process. I enjoy meeting, working, and learning from people of all types and description. Helping see projects through to completion is an absolute pleasure.
Restoration turned Re-creation
We bought a stone home constructed in the mid 1800's intending to restore, and integrate into a new modern country home.
During the process it became clear the stone structure was unstable and in a state of collapse. The decision was made to take it down, and rebuild in its place, eventually re-integrating its original materials. Plans needed to be redone mid-process, in order to meet our timelines. |
A Modern Country Home
In spite of a challenging build, and several changes, our home was complete on time in the fall of 2014.
Incorporating modern techniques, such as passive solar, vaulted ceilings, hydronic radiant flooring, with classical design elements created a one of a kind family home. Over time I have and will continue to re-integrate heritage materials into the building |
Caribshare Biogas
During my time at CH Four Biogas, we were tasked with the design of an Anaerobic Digestion system tailored for the Caribbean.
Aimed at providing a novel solution to Jamaica's growing waste management problem to serve the tourism industry. Caribshare's mission is to turn hotel waste and farm manure into a source of renewable natural gas. Working with our lead engineer, I produced a design for the plant, and served as project manager. |
